AND RIDGE...AS WELL AS THE HIGHLANDS AND HIGH PLAINS NEAR CAPULIN...
DES MOINES...AND LAS VEGAS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL IN GENERAL BE
LIGHT...AMOUNTING TO JUST A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH. HOWEVER...
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO COOL AS THE EVENING PROGRESSES WITH
RAIN CHANGING OVER TO SNOW. SNOW WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND
INTENSITY BY MIDNIGHT WITH SOME ACCUMULATIONS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT.
MOTORISTS ALONG INTERSTATE 25 NORTH OF RATON...AND ALSO ALONG U.S.
HIGHWAYS 64 AND 87...CAN INITIALLY EXPECT WET CONDITIONS WITH TRAVEL
LIKELY BECOMING MORE TREACHEROUS BY MIDNIGHT WITH THE CHANGE OVER TO
SNOW.
