SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE THROUGH THE
EARLY AFTERNOON ACROSS THE WESTERN HIGHLANDS AND GILA REGION. STORMS
WILL TEND TO DRIFT TOWARDS THE WEST/NORTHWEST. DUE TO THE SLOW
MOVING MOTION TO THE STORMS...HEAVY RAIN UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF
AN INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 130 PM. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS
WILL CONTAIN OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS TO 35
MPH AND PEA SIZED HAIL.

MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THE MAIN FOCUS AREA THROUGH
130 PM WILL BE FOUND ALONG THE WEST SLOPES OF THE SANGRE DE
CRISTOS. STORMS WILL TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THE WEST BUT AT A VERY
SLOW AND ERRATIC PACE. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE THE MAIN THREAT...UP TO
ONE INCH THROUGH 130 PM BUT OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND
WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.
SANTA FE AREA WILL MOST LIKELY BE IMPACTED THROUGH 1 PM.

STORM MOTION WILL BE SLOW AND ERRATIC THROUGH 130 PM. SOME OF THE
STRONGER STORMS WILL PROVIDE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING
AND WIND GUSTS TO 35 MPH. HEAVY RAIN WILL BE THE MAIN IMPACT. SOME
OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL CONTAIN RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 1 INCH
THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON.
