ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW LINGERING THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE THIS EVENING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO. MOVEMENT WILL BE GENERALLY TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AROUND 5
TO 10 MPH...AND SOME STORMS WILL PRODUCE LOCAL MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAINFALL WITH STRONG RUNOFFS. THROUGH 930 PM MDT...THUNDERSTORMS
WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS FROM CROWNPOINT AND CHACO CANYON TO
COUNSELOR...CUBA AND LINDRITH. SOME OF THESE AREAS RECEIVED HEAVY
RAIN ON TUESDAY...AND THUS WILL BE MORE PRONE TO RUNOFFS. LIGHT TO
MODERATE RAIN SHOWERS WILL FAVOR THE AREA FROM EL VADO TO EL RITO AND
EMBUDO.

CONTINUE THIS EVENING OVER PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL AND CENTRAL NEW
MEXICO. MOVEMENT WILL BE TO THE EAST AROUND 5 TO 10 MPH. THROUGH 1000
PM MDT...SHOWERS WITH A FEW LINGERING THUNDERSTORMS WILL ROAM THE
INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR FROM GALLUP THROUGH GRANTS TO THE ALBUQUERQUE
METRO AREA.  MAINLY LIGHT TO MODERATE SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 40 AFFECTING EL MORRO...RAMAH...ZUNI PUEBLO AND QUEMADO.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO CONTINUE FROM MOUNTAINAIR TO DURAN AND
SOUTH TO CORONA...BINGHAM AND JICARILLA.  THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE
PRODUCING GUSTY OUTFLOWS THAT CAN TRAVEL MILES FROM THE PARENT STORM.
ADDITIONALLY...NEW THUNDERSTORMS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY ON THE
BOUNDARIES. LOCAL MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WITH STRONG RUNOFFS WILL
ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS.

TO ONE OR TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH OR PRECIPITATION. THROUGH 1000 PM
MDT...LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE THE INTERSTATE 25 CORRIDOR FROM
WAGON MOUND TO RATON...THEN EAST TO THE TEXAS BORDER AND SOUTH TO THE
INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR FROM NEWKIRK THROUGH TUCUMCARI...INCLUDING
THE AREA FROM LOGAN TO NARA VISA.
