THROUGH 3 PM...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST NUMEROUS OVER AND JUST WEST
OF THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS EXTENDING WESTWARD TO THE
UPPER RIO GRANDE AND LOWER RIO CHAMA RIVER VALLEYS.  STORM MOTIONS
WILL BE TOWARD THE WEST AT AROUND 10 MPH.  RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN
1/2 AND 1 INCH PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED IN LOCALIZED AREAS TO
INCLUDE THE PENASCO...TRUCHAS...CUNDIYO...NAMBE...COWLES AND
TERERRO AREAS.   THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MORE ISOLATED EAST OF THE
SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS BUT THESE STORMS WILL ALSO MOVE NEARLY
DUE WEST AT AROUND 10 MPH.  RAINFALL MAY BECOME EXCESSIVE AND PRODUCE
HEAVY RUNOFF AND PERHAPS EVEN LOCALIZED FLOODING.

OVER WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST NEW MEXICO PARTICULARLY NEAR THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND OVER CATRON COUNTY.  STORM MOTIONS WILL
GENERALLY BE TOWARD THE WEST OR WEST-NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
THE SLOW MOVEMENT WILL ALLOW FOR LOCALIZED BRIEF BUT HEAVY
DOWNPOURS. ADDITIONALLY... STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE WIND
GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH...AND PERHAPS PEA SIZED HAIL. LOCALES
THAT MAY BE IMPACTED INCLUDE THOREAU...FENCE LAKE...QUEMADO...
DATIL...LUNA AND ALMA.

DEVELOP AND SLOWLY MOVE TOWARD THE WEST AT AROUND 10 MPH OVER
CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE TO INCLUDE THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY.
BETTER DEVELOPED STORMS MAY IMPACT AREAS FROM BELEN AND BERNARDO
SOUTH TO SOCORRO AND BOSQUE DEL APACHE.    A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL
ALSO IMPACT AREAS NEAR CLINES CORNERS...STANLEY...MORIARTY...
EDGEWOOD AND SEDILLO.  AFTER 3 PM..THE FOCUS FOR STRONGER STORMS
WILL SHIFT WEST OF THE RIO GRANDE.  STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE WIND
GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH...AND PERHAPS PEA SIZED HAIL.
