THROUGH 1130 AM MDT A BROKEN LINE OF SHOWERS AND A FEW EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH
ACROSS THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE STATE...WHILE ALSO PROPAGATING
MUCH MORE SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST. THIS ACTIVITY SHOULD INCREASE
SOMEWHAT IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY AFTER 10 OR 11 PM AND MUCH MORE
SO AFTER NOON. RAIN AMOUNTS THROUGH 1130 AM SHOULD RANGE FROM JUST
UNDER A TENTH TO A THIRD OF AN INCH AND ANY STORMS WOULD PRODUCE A
FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES...WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH AND BRIEF HEAVY
RAINFALL. A FEW OTHER SHOWERS AND STORMS MAY DEVELOP BEFORE NOON
ACROSS THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS REGION OUT AHEAD OF THE AFOREMENTIONED
LINE. SOME LOCALES POTENTIALLY AFFECTED INCLUDE CHACO CANYON...THE
BLANCO TRADING POST...NAVAJO DAM...DULCE...GALLUP...STANDING ROCK AND
NAGEEZI.
