EVENING. THROUGH MIDNIGHT...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOST LIKELY IN THE
NORTHWESTERN AREAS NEAR CROWNPOINT AND CHACO CANYON...ALONG THE
INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR BETWEEN GALLUP AND THOREAU TO ACOMA
PUEBLO...AND IN CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTY INCLUDING THE INTERSTATE 25
CORRIDOR BETWEEN BERNARDO AND BOSQUE DEL APACHE. LIGHTER SHOWERS
WILL PRODUCE LIGHT PRECIPITATION SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40 NEAR EL
MORRO AND RAMAH....AROUND THE ALBUQUERQUE METRO AREA...AND ACROSS
THE NORTHERN HIGH TERRAIN ESPECIALLY NEAR THE COLORADO BORDER.
ANY THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING MODERATE DOWNPOURS...
DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...AND GUSTY OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES TO
40 MPH. RUNOFFS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ACTIVITY WILL LEAD TO FAST
MOVING WATER THROUGH NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS AND CREEKS AND ACROSS LOW
WATER CROSSINGS.
