AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP BEHIND IT ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST
MOUNTAINS...LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND SOUTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM A FEW HUNDREDTHS TO ONE QUARTER OF
AN INCH...WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS BETWEEN ONE HALF AND ONE INCH WITH THE
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. RAIN WILL BECOME HEAVIER BY LATE
AFTERNOON AND MAY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST
MOUNTAINS AND LOWER RIO GRANDE VALLEY.

AFTERNOON HOURS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL INITIALLY AVERAGE LESS THAN
ONE HALF INCH...BUT GREATER AMOUNTS ARE LIKELY LATER TODAY.
OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING...SMALL HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY
THE THUNDERSTORMS. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THIS ACTIVITY...
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE LATER
