SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER WILL IMPACT NORTHWEST
AND NORTH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE EARLY
AFTERNOON. THE SHOWERS WILL BE FAST MOVING THUS SHORT LIVED. ACTIVITY
WILL TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THE EAST. THE ACTIVITY WILL FAVOR THE
COLORADO BORDER AREA AS WELL AS HIGH TERRAIN FOUND WITHIN THE JEMEZ
MOUNTAINS. PRECIPITATION WILL INITIALLY BE ON THE LIGHTER SIDE...
GENERALLY LESS THAN A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH. SNOW OR ICE
PELLETS WILL IMPACT THE HIGHER TERRAIN...GENERALLY ABOVE 8000 FEET.
GUSTS BETWEEN 35 TO 45 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY THE SHOWERS.
