SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT
THE WESTERN HIGHLANDS AND NORTHWEST PLATEAU THROUGH THE MID
EVENING. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL BE LIGHT IN NATURE WITH
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND OUTFLOW WIND GUSTS TO 40
MPH. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE FOUND NEAR MARQUEZ DUE TO STORMS
MOVING IN FROM THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY. THOSE STORMS WILL PRODUCE
HIGHER WIND GUSTS AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING.

WILL BE LIGHTER IN NATURE WITH RAIN AMOUNTS LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN
INCH AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH DYING STORMS. MOVEMENT OF THE CELLS WILL BE
TOWARDS THE SOUTH/SOUTHWEST AT 10 MPH.

LOWER/MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY EASTWARD ACROSS THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS
AND ADJACENT HIGH PLAINS THROUGH THE MID EVENING HOURS. STRONGER
CELLS WILL IMPACT THE ALBUQUERQUE/RIO RANCHO METRO AREAS AS WELL AS
SANDIA PARK/ESCABOSA AREA THROUGH 9 PM. OUTFLOW WIND GUSTS TO 50
MPH...FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND PEA TO HALF INCH
DIAMETER HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS. A SMALL
FOOTPRINT OF RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH WILL
ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THIS WOULD CREATE SOME NUISANCE FLOODING ALONG
LOW LYING AREAS AND ALONG URBAN ROADWAYS.
