AREAS SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF SANTA FE TO INCLUDE AREAS NEAR LA
CIENEGA...MADRID...KEWA PUEBLO...SAN FELIPE PUEBLO...AND COCHITI
PUEBLO.   ELSEWHERE...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOSTLY ISOLATED IN
COVERAGE AND FOCUSED NEAR AND WEST OF THE SANGRE DE CRISTO
RANGE TO INCLUDE THE UPPER RIO GRANDE AND LOWER RIO CHAMA RIVER
VALLEYS. STORM MOTIONS WILL BE TOWARD THE WEST OR WEST-SOUTHWEST AT
AROUND 10 MPH. RAINFALL RATES BETWEEN 1/2 AND 1 INCH PER HOUR CAN BE
EXPECTED WITH THE STRONGER CELLS. RAINFALL MAY BE EXCESSIVE
AND PRODUCE HEAVY RUNOFF AND PERHAPS EVEN LOCALIZED FLOODING.

OVER MUCH OF WESTERN NEW MEXICO PARTICULARLY NEAR THE CONTINENTAL
DIVIDE AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40.  STORM MOTIONS WILL GENERALLY BE
TOWARD THE WEST OR WEST-NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THE SLOW MOVEMENT
WILL ALLOW FOR LOCALIZED BRIEF BUT HEAVY DOWNPOURS. ADDITIONALLY...
STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH...AND
PERHAPS PEA SIZED HAIL. LOCALES THAT MAY BE IMPACTED INCLUDE
CROWNPOINT...GALLUP...FENCE LAKE...QUEMADO...DATIL...RESERVE...HORSE

THE BETTER DEVELOPED STORMS WILL IMPACT AREAS FROM ISLETA PUEBLO AND
LOS LUNAS SOUTH TO SAN ACACIA...SOCORRO...AND BOSQUE DEL APACHE. A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO IMPACT AREAS NEAR LAMY...STANLEY...
MORIARTY...EDGEWOOD AND SEDILLO. STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE WIND
GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH...AND PERHAPS PEA SIZED HAIL.
