WESTERN HIGHLANDS THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON HOURS. THE MAIN FOCUS
THROUGH 4 PM WILL BE FOUND ACROSS MCKINLEY AND CATRON COUNTIES.
STORMS WILL TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THE SOUTHWEST AROUND 10 MPH. SOME
OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL CONTAIN RAIN AMOUNTS BETWEEN 0.5 TO 1
INCH. GUSTY OUTFLOW WIND UP TO 40 MPH...OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND EVEN SOME PEA SIZED HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE.
COMMUNITIES SUCH AS QUEMADO LAKE...RESERVE...PIETOWN AND LAGUNA WILL
MOST LIKELY BE AFFECTED.

MOUNTAINS...UPPER AND MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY AS WELL AS THE
CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND ESTANCIA BASIN THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON.
STORMS WILL TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THE SOUTH/SOUTHWEST AROUND 8 MPH.
SOME OF THE STORMS WILL CONTAIN HEAVY DOWNPOURS OF RAIN FOR 20 TO
30 MINUTES. AMOUNTS UP TO 1 INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE BUT MOST WILL
CONTAIN VALUES BETWEEN 0.15 TO 0.45 INCHES. OUTFLOW WIND GUSTS UP
TO 40 MPH AND OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL ALSO
ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS. THE FOOTHILLS AND NORTHEAST HEIGHTS
OF ALBUQUERQUE WILL MOST LIKELY EXPERIENCE SOME RAIN AND THUNDER
DURING THIS PERIOD.
