HIGHER TERRAIN IN WESTERN NEW MEXICO...ESPECIALLY ALONG AND
SURROUNDING THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. STORMS WILL INITIALLY DEVELOP
OVER THE ZUNI AND CHUSKA MOUNTAINS AND NEAR MOUNT TAYLOR AND THE GILA
WILDERNESS WITH STORMS MOVING VERY SLOWLY AND ERRATICALLY AT ABOUT 5
MPH OR LESS. EXPECT BRIEF DOWNPOURS...ERRATIC WIND GUSTS...SOME SMALL
HAIL...AND DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
THROUGH 5 PM WILL GENERALLY REMAIN LESS THAN A HALF INCH...HOWEVER
A FEW LOCALIZED AREAS COULD RECEIVE HIGHER AMOUNTS.
