WESTERN HIGHLANDS AND NORTHWEST PLATEAU THROUGH THE MID AFTERNOON.
STORMS WILL TEND TO MOVE TOWARDS THE WEST/NORTHWEST BETWEEN 5 TO 10
MPH. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVING NATURE TO THE STORM...HEAVY RAINFALL
WILL RESULT. EXPECT HOURLY RATES UP TO 1 INCH. SOME OF THE STRONGER
STORMS WILL ALSO CONTAIN FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND
HAIL UP TO NICKEL SIZED. THE MAIN FOCUS AREA FOR THE HEAVIER RAIN
WILL BE OVER THE CHUSKA MOUNTAINS AS WELL AS ALONG THE CONTINENTAL
DIVIDE.

THE MAIN FOCUS AREA WILL BE FOUND OVER THE JEMEZ MOUNTAINS...SANTA
FE TO WHITE ROCK AREA AND THE WEST SLOPES OF THE SANGRES. SOME OF
THE STRONGER STORMS WILL CONTAIN HOURLY RAINFALL RATES UP TO 1.25
INCHES...HALF INCH TO NICKEL SIZED HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH.
MOVEMENT OF THE ACTIVITY WILL GENERALLY BE A SLOW AND ERRATIC
DRIFT.

THE WEST BETWEEN 5 TO 10 MPH. SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL
CONTAIN FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...HOURLY RAINFALL RATES
UP TO 1 INCH AND HALF INCH DIAMETER HAIL. INTERSTATE 25 BETWEEN
BERNARDO TO SOCORRO WILL BE IMPACTED THROUGH 2 PM.
