A FEW SHOWERS WITH ONLY OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING WILL STREAM EAST
NORTHEAST ACROSS NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO LATE THIS AFTERNOON.
PRECIPITATION IS UNLIKELY TO REACH THE GROUND...BUT WILL ACCUMULATE
VERY LITTLE IF IT DOES. MORE LIKELY...THESE SHOWERS COULD PRODUCE
BRIEF SUDDEN WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH ALONG WITH A LIGHTNING STRIKE
OR TWO. THOSE HIKING OR CAMPING AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE
NORTHERN MOUNTAINS WILL BE MOST LIKELY TO SEE ANY IMPACTS THROUGH
7 PM...WITH LITTLE IMPACT SEEN AT VALLEY FLOORS. THE FOUR CORNERS
REGION MAY SEE A SLIGHT INCREASE IN SHOWER ACTIVITY DURING THE
