SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO AFFECT THE
WESTERN MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON. THE STRONGER STORMS
THROUGH 5 PM WILL BE FOUND EAST OF A LINE FROM MARQUEZ TO ACOMA
PUEBLO AS WELL AS ACROSS CATRON COUNTY. THE CELLS WILL REMAIN SLOW
MOVING AND GENERALLY PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS LESS THAN FOUR
TENTHS OF AN INCH. A STRONGER STORM ALONG AND EAST OF A LINE FROM
MARQUEZ TO ACOMA PUEBLO TO THE VERY LARGE ARRAY COULD PRODUCE
AMOUNTS UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH. GUSTS BETWEEN 35 TO 45 MPH
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.

NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY THROUGH THE LATE
AFTERNOON. THE MAIN FOCUS AREA THROUGH 5 PM WILL BE FOUND OVER THE
SANGRE DE CRISTOS AS WELL AS LOWER SLOPES OF THE JEMEZ MOUNTAINS.
THE STRONGER STORMS WILL CONTAIN PEA SIZED HAIL...FREQUENT CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH. SMALL RAINFALL FOOTPRINTS
OF 1 INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGER STORMS OVER THE LOWER
JEMEZ AND ACROSS THE SANGRE DE CRISTOS. STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE SLOW
AND ERRATIC.

GRANDE VALLEY AS WELL AS CENTRAL MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT HIGH PLAINS
THROUGH THE LATE AFTERNOON. OUTFLOW BOUNDARY COLLISIONS WILL
PROVIDE ISOLATED STORM IMPACTS TO THE GREATER ALBUQUERQUE METRO
AREA BETWEEN 330 TO 5 PM. STRONG STORMS ALONG THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS
AND OVER THE ESTANCIA BASIN WILL PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1
TO 1.25 INCHES. STRONG STORMS OVER THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY HAVE THE
POTENTIAL OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 0.75 TO 1
INCH OVER A SMALLER AREA. OUTFLOW WINDS UP TO 50 MPH...
HALF INCH DIAMETER AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL ALSO
ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS. STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE SLOW AND
ERRATIC.
