SHORTLY BEFORE NOON...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING OVER
THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL BE
AFFECTED BY THESE EARLY SHOWERS AND STORMS INCLUDE LOS PINOS TO UTE
PARK...AND TOADLENA...TOHATCHI AND NAVAJO. MOVEMENT WILL GENERALLY
BE TO THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST AROUND 15 TO 20 MPH. OCCASIONAL CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING...WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 45 MPH...SMALL HAIL AND
LOCALLY MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN...WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLOODING...WILL
BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY STORM. STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD AND VIGOROUS DURING THE EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS. A FLASH
FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND
NORTHERN NEW MEXICO.
