EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE WESTERN QUARTER OF NEW
MEXICO FOR MUCH OF THE NIGHT. THIS ACTIVITY WILL MOVE NORTH
NORTHEAST AT 25 TO 30 MPH...AFFECTING LOCALITIES SUCH AS CHACO
CANYON...FARMINGTON...SHIPROCK...GALLUP...ZUNI PUEBLO...QUEMADO...
FENCE LAKE...ZUNI PUEBLO AND RED HILL. A SECOND AREA WILL ENTER
SOCORRO COUNTY AND SOUTHEAST CATRON COUNTY TOWARD MIDNIGHT AND
THEREAFTER...SPREADING NORTH AND NORTHEAST...AFFECTING LOCALITIES
SUCH AS BEAVERHEAD...DUSTY...THE BOSQUE DEL APACHE AND SOCORRO.
INITIALLY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN NEAR OR UNDER THREE
TENTHS OF AN INCH...HOWEVER MORE SUBSTANTIAL RAINS ARE EXPECTED AFTER
MIDNIGHT AS MORE MOISTURE SPREADS UP FROM THE SOUTH AND A LOW
PRESSURE TROUGH EDGES CLOSER FROM THE SOUTHWEST. OCCASIONAL...BUT
DEADLY...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...ERRATIC WIND GUSTS UP TO 40
MPH AND PERHAPS AN INSTANCE OR TWO OF SMALL HAIL WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY

WILL INCLUDE CLOVIS...CANNON AIR FORCE BASE...PORTALES...ARCH...
RANCHVALE...AND A LITTLE LATER IN THE PERIOD LINGO AND CAUSEY.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN LESS THAN FOUR TENTHS OF AN
INCH...HOWEVER SOME LOCALIZED DOWNPOURS COULD RESULT IN HIGHER
AMOUNTS. OCCASIONAL...BUT DEADLY...CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...
ERRATIC WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH AND PERHAPS AN INSTANCE OR TWO
OF SMALL HAIL WILL ACCOMPANY THE THUNDERSTORMS. OTHER ISOLATED
