SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL PORTIONS OF NEW MEXICO THROUGH THE MID
AFTERNOON HOURS. THE SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL MOVE TOWARDS THE EAST
BETWEEN 50 TO 60 MPH. DUE TO THE FAST MOVING NATURE OF THE
SHOWERS...PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE LIGHT WITH ANY
ONE BAND BUT OVER TIME PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL ADD UP TO AT LEAST
A TENTH OF AN INCH ACROSS THE HIGHER WEST FACING SLOPES THROUGH 4
PM. SNOWFALL AND PELLETS WILL REMAIN ABOVE 8000 FEET. LOOK FOR AN
INCH OF SNOW ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN. THUNDER WILL BE MOST
PROBABLE NEAR THE ARIZONA AND COLORADO BORDERS. STRONG TO VERY
STRONG GUSTS OF WIND BETWEEN 45 TO 55 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE
PASSING SHOWERS.

HIGHLANDS AND PLAINS. LOOK FOR THIS ACTIVITY TO GRADUALLY INCREASE
IN COVERAGE THROUGH THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON. THE MAIN FOCUS AREA
THROUGH 4 PM WILL BE FOUND OVER HARDING...UNION AND EASTERN
COLFAX/MORA COUNTIES. PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY BE LESS
THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH. PRECIPITATION WILL BE IN THE FORM OF
RAINFALL THROUGH 4 PM ALTHOUGH CANT RULE OUT SOME ICE PELLETS.
