THROUGH 930 PM...ISOLATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
DRIFT SLOWLY SOUTHWARD FROM COLORADO INTO THE FAR NORTHWEST
HIGHLANDS...SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS...AND SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS.
SOME STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AT RATES
APPROACHING 1 INCH PER HOUR WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR MINOR FLOODING.
STRONGER CELLS WILL ALSO BE CAPABLE OF WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH WITH
SMALL HAIL AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. LOCATIONS FAVORED FOR
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL INCLUDE THE VICINITY OF DULCE AND THE AREA FROM
VERMEJO PARK TO COSTILLA. ALTHOUGH HEAVY RAIN HAS STOPPED FROM
VERMEJO PARK TO RATON...HAZARDOUS RUNOFF MAY PERSIST IN SOME
LOCATIONS UNTIL MID EVENING.
