CONTINUE TO BE POSSIBLE ALONG AND WEST OF THE RIO GRANDE TO THE
ARIZONA BORDER. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL DRIFT TOWARD THE NORTH OR
NORTHEAST AT SPEEDS UP TO 15 MPH. STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE A
BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOUR...WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH...AND CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. THROUGH 1 AM MDT...MOST OF THE PRECIPITATION SHOULD FAVOR
THE LOWER AND MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY...JEMEZ MOUNTAINS AND SANTA
FE METRO AREA. HAZARDOUS WATER LEVELS MAY QUICKLY DEVELOP IN SMALL

NORTHWARD AND NORTHEASTWARD ALONG THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN AND
ADJACENT HIGHLANDS. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL MOVE TOWARD THE EAST
OR NORTHEAST AT SPEEDS UP TO 15 MPH...SHIFTING STORMS ONTO THE
EAST CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST PLAINS AS THE NIGHT PROGRESSES. STRONGER
STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING OVER 1.25 INCHES OF RAIN IN
LESS THAN AN HOUR WITH WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH AND DANGEROUS CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING. THROUGH 1 AM MDT I-25 WILL BE IMPACTED IN SPOTS
FROM SANTA FE TO RATON PASS...AND I-40 WILL BE IMPACTED IN SPOTS
FROM TIJERAS CANYON TO SANTA ROSA. HAZARDOUS WATER LEVELS MAY
QUICKLY DEVELOP IN SMALL STREAMS...ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER
CROSSINGS.
