FROM THE EAST SLOPES OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN CHAIN OVER THE EASTERN
PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON. BEFORE 230 PM MOST OF THE SHOWERS WILL
BE SCATTERED FROM  MOUNTAINAIR TO CLINES CORNERS...RAMON AND
CORONA...AS WELL AS THROUGH SANTA ROSA...NEWKIRK...RAGLAND AND
LOGAN. OTHER SHOWERS WILL LINGER NEAR ROSWELL...AND FROM ROGERS TO
PORTALES AND RANCHVALE AS WELL AS NEAR COWLES AND EL PORVENIR.
MOVEMENT WILL BE GENERALLY IN A NORTHERLY OR NORTHWESTERLY DIRECTION.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN INCH IN LIGHT
SHOWERS TO ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF ONE HALF INCH TO AN INCH IN HEAVY
SHOWERS AND ANY STORMS. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER PONDING
OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. RUNOFF COULD CAUSE INCREASED FLOWS IN LOW LYING
AREAS...ARROYOS...OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND OTHER DRAINAGES.

MOVEMENT OF THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE GENERALLY BE IN A SOUTHERLY
DIRECTION.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN
INCH IN LIGHT SHOWERS TO ISOLATED AMOUNTS OF ONE HALF INCH TO AN INCH
IN HEAVY SHOWERS AND STORMS. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS WITH ANY OF THE HEAVIER ACTIVITY. ANY
RUNOFF COULD CAUSE INCREASED FLOWS IN LOW LYING AREAS...ARROYOS...
