THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
INCREASING IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY NEAR AND ACROSS THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAIN CHAIN. THIS ACTIVITY WILL DRIFT TO THE WEST AT 10 TO 15
MPH. RAINFALL WILL BECOME LOCALLY HEAVY IN THE MAJORITY OF STORMS
DUE TO THE RELATIVELY HIGH MOISTURE LEVELS. STRONGER STORMS MAY ALSO
PRODUCE WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 50 MPH...OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING
STRIKES AND PERHAPS SMALL HAIL. LOCALES THAT MAY BE IMPACTED INCLUDE
THE SANTA FE AND ALBUQUERQUE METRO AREAS...NAMBE PUEBLO...MOUNTAINAIR
AND LOS ALAMOS. AS OTHER STORMS DEVELOP EARLY THIS AFTERNOON SOME
OTHER LOCALES WILL LIKELY BE IMPACTED. RAINFALL MAY BECOME HEAVY
ENOUGH LATER THIS AFTERNOON TO PRODUCE HEAVY RUNOFF AND PERHAPS EVEN
