SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXPAND IN COVERAGE ACROSS THE
WESTERN AND NORTHERN HIGHLANDS AS WELL AS THE LOWER/MIDDLE RIO GRANDE
VALLEY THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING. STORM MOVEMENT WILL BE
TOWARDS THE NORTH/NORTHEAST AROUND 10 MPH. SOME OF THE STRONGER CELLS
THROUGH 11 AM WILL CONTAIN RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO A THIRD OF AN INCH
WITH OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. THE RAINFALL INTENSITY
WILL INCREASE AS THE DAY PROGRESSES AND THE ATMOSPHERE
DESTABILIZES.

THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS INCLUDING THE SACRAMENTOS AND THE ESTANCIA
BASIN AND SOUTHEAST PLAINS THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING. SOME OF
THE STORMS WILL CONTAIN MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAINFALL UP
TO A THIRD OF AN INCH. AS THE DAY PROGRESSES...THE ATMOSPHERE WILL
DESTABILIZE AND RAINFALL RATES WILL INCREASE. MOVEMENT WILL BE
TOWARDS THE NORTH/NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH.
