THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOST LIKELY IN THE SOUTHEAST PLAINS...FROM EASTERN
CHAVES TO ROOSEVELT AND CURRY COUNTIES AND WILL RESULT IN A QUICK
BURST OF PRECIPITATION UP TO HALF OR THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH IN 30
MINUTES AND CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. LOCATIONS POSSIBLY IMPACTED
INCLUDE ELKINS...BROADVIEW...MELROSE...PORTALES...ROGERS AND
MILNESAND. ELSEWHERE...RAIN WILL PRODUCE ACCUMULATIONS OF A FEW
HUNDRETHS TO TWO OR THREE TENTHS OF AN INCH. TRAVELERS AND RESIDENTS
IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ALERT TO PONDING OF WATER AS WELL AS FAST
FLOWING WATER OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND IN ARROYOS...BOTH NEAR AND
