CONTINUE ACROSS WESTERN AREAS. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL MOVE TOWARD
THE NORTHWEST AT SPEEDS UNDER 15 MPH. SLOW MOVEMENT AND HEAVY
DOWNPOURS WILL PROBABLY LEAD TO HAZARDOUS RUNOFF IN SOME
LOCATIONS. STRONGER STORMS WILL ALSO PRODUCE WIND GUSTS BETWEEN 35
AND 45 MPH...AND PERHAPS PEA SIZED HAIL. AREAS FAVORED FOR
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL INCLUDE THE VICINITY OF PIETOWN...
QUEMADO LAKE...ARAGON...TOHATCHI AND POSSIBLY NARBONA PASS.

AND FAR NORTHWEST HIGHLANDS...AS WELL AS THE RIO GRANDE AND LOWER
CHAMA RIVER VALLEYS. MOST OF THE ACTIVITY WILL MOVE SLOWLY TOWARD THE
WEST AT SPEEDS UP TO 10 MPH. STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING OVER 1 INCH OF RAIN IN LESS THAN AN HOUR WITH SMALL HAIL
AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH. AREAS LIKELY TO RECEIVE ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL INCLUDE THE VICINITY OF ARROYO SECO...FROM TIERRA AMARILLA
TO CHAMA AND FROM RATON TO VERMEJO PARK. HAZARDOUS RUNOFF IS EXPECTED
IN SOME SMALL STREAMS...ARROYOS AND ACROSS LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
