  SOUTHWESTERN NEW MEXICO.

* WINDS...SUSTAINED FROM THE SOUTH AND OCCASIONALLY SOUTHWEST AT
  25 TO 35 MPH...GUSTING AT TIMES TO AROUND 50 MPH.

* TIMING...INCREASING EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND PEAKING MID TO LATE
  AFTERNOON. WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE IN SPEED AROUND OR
  SHORTLY AFTER SUNSET.

* VISIBILITY...SOME LOCALIZED AREAS OF BLOWING DUST MAY
  OCCASIONALLY REDUCE VISIBILITY TO AROUND 3 MILES...MAINLY LOWER
  TERRAIN.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...STRONG CROSS WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED ON WEST-
  EAST ORIENTED ROADS SUCH AS INTERSTATE 40. LAWN FURNITURE...
  GARBAGE CANS...AND OTHER LOOSE ITEMS MAY BECOME TOSSED AROUND
  OR LOFTED IN THE STRONG WINDS.
