...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MST FRIDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A DENSE
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MST FRIDAY.

* LOCATION...THE PLAINS OF CHAVES...DE BACA...CURRY AND ROOSEVELT
  COUNTIES...EXCEPT FOR THE WESTERN FRINGE OF CHAVES AND DE BACA
  COUNTIES.

* TIMING...A BROAD AREA OF DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD
  NORTHWARD THROUGH THE PECOS RIVER VALLEY AND NORTHEASTWARD
  ACROSS CURRY AND ROOSEVELT COUNTIES THROUGH THE LATE NIGHT
  HOURS. THE FOG WILL GRADUALLY ERODE FROM THE WEST AFTER SUNRISE
  FRIDAY MORNING.

* VISIBILITY...COMMONLY BELOW A HALF MILE WITH NEAR ZERO
  VISIBILITIES AT TIMES.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...VERY LOW VISIBILITY WILL MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL BE FREQUENTLY
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE. MOTORISTS SHOULD DRIVE WITH
EXTREME CAUTION.
