...FREEZING FOG ADVISORY FOR THE NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL
PLATEAU...

.UNUSUALLY HIGH LEVELS OF MOISTURE IN THE LOWEST PORTIONS OF THE
ATMOSPHERE OVER MUCH OF NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO WILL PRODUCE ANOTHER
ROUND OF FREEZING FOG TONIGHT. THE FOG...DENSE AT TIMES...WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS THURSDAY BEFORE DISSIPATING.
WITH TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING...THERE IS POTENTIAL FOR BLACK
ICE ON THE HIGHWAYS...ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A FREEZING
FOG ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THURSDAY.

* LOCATION...THE NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL PLATEAUS...INCLUDING
  FARMINGTON AND GALLUP.

* TIMING...AREAS OF FREEZING FOG DEVELOPING PRIOR TO MIDNIGHT AND
  PERSISTING OVERNIGHT AND THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.

* VISIBILITY...ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...BLACK ICE WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH TEMPERATURES
  BELOW FREEZING. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 40 FROM NEAR GALLUP TO
  THE ARIZONA BORDER...AND HIGHWAY 64 FROM NEAR FARMINGTON TO THE
  ARIZONA BORDER.
