THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A HIGH
WIND WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 9 PM MDT MONDAY.

* LOCATION...THE CHUSKA...WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST MOUNTAINS AS
  WELL AS THE WEST CENTRAL PLATEAU TO INCLUDE THE INTERSTATE 40
  CORRIDOR FROM THE ARIZONA STATE LINE TO GALLUP TO THE
  CONTINENTAL DIVIDE.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL ABRUPTLY INCREASE BY MID-MORNING MONDAY WITH
  THE STRONGEST GUSTS EXPECTED FROM MIDDAY THROUGH EARLY EVENING.

* VISIBILITY...REDUCED TO LESS THAN 3 MILES AT TIMES ACROSS DUST
  PRONE LOWER ELEVATION AREAS.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...DANGEROUS CROSS WINDS WILL MAKE TRAVEL
  DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. WINDS OF THIS
  MAGNITUDE CAN RESULT IN PROPERTY DAMAGE AS WELL AS DOWNED TREES
  AND POWER LINES.

REMEMBER...A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS DAMAGING WINDS ARE IMMINENT
