...STRONG WINDS TO CONTINUE IMPACTING THE SANGRE DE CRISTO
MOUNTAINS...

.Stronger westerly flow aloft has moved over northern New Mexico,
and gusty conditions are expected to periodically impact the
Sangre de Cristos today with occasional gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM MDT this evening.

* LOCATION...The Sangre de Cristo mountains of New Mexico.

* WINDS...Sustained at 25 to 35 mph from the west with occasional
  gusts of 45 to 50 mph.

* TIMING...Winds will remain strong through the late afternoon.

* VISIBILITY...No widespread visibility impacts are expected.

* LOCAL IMPACTS...Lightweight objects such as lawn furniture and
  garbage cans may be toppled or become airborne. Strong
  crosswinds can be expected on north to south oriented roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should exercise caution while travelling. Sudden gusts
of wind may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Extra
attention should be given to cross winds.
