...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT ACROSS EASTERN NEW MEXICO LATE
WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING DUE TO STRONG WINDS,
LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES, AND AN UNSTABLE ATMOSPHERE...

.Southwest winds increase Wednesday ahead of a disturbance over
the Great Basin. Winds of 25 to 35 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph,
minimum relative humidity values of 6 to 10 percent, high Haines
values, and dry fine fuels will likely result in critical fire
weather conditions late Wednesday morning through sunset.
Critical fire weather conditions wane after sunset as winds taper
off and relative humidity values rise.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire
Weather Watch...which is in effect from 11 AM Wednesday morning
through 8 PM Wednesday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northeast Plains (Zone 104), Northeast
  Highlands (Zone 123), Central Highlands (Zone 125), and East
  Central Plains (Zone 126) late Wednesday morning through
  Wednesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with peak gusts
  of 35 to 45 mph Wednesday afternoon.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values of 6 to 10
  percent Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.
