...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY
UNTIL 1230 AM MDT...

At 1202 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles east of Twin Falls, or 15 miles northwest of Shiprock, moving
west at 25 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Heavy rain and frequent and dangerous cloud to ground lightning will
also be possible with this storm.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern San
Juan County.

Heavy rains will cause water to pond on roads and in low spots. Fast
running water will quickly fill arroyos and ditches.
