AT 411 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 8 MILES
WEST OF NORTHERN MEADOWS TO 15 MILES WEST OF ISLETA
PUEBLO...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

HALF INCH HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ALBUQUERQUE...RIO RANCHO...BERNALILLO...CORRALES...LOS RANCHOS DE
ALBUQUERQUE...PARADISE HILLS...TAYLOR RANCH...VENTANA RANCH...
CORONADO STATE MONUMENT AND CABEZON.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 INTERSTATE 40 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 141 AND 162.
 INTERSTATE 25 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 221 AND 246.

OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS
JEMEZ CANYON RESERVOIR...RIO GRANDE NATURE CENTER...AND PETROGLYPH
NATIONAL MONUMENT.

FREQUENT DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE
STORMS. LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

MOTORISTS CAN EXPECT BRIEF BUT SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND
PONDING OF WATER ON HIGHWAYS AS STORMS MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.
