STRONG THUNDERSTORM 24 MILES WEST OF COTTONWOOD...OR 26 MILES
NORTHWEST OF ARTESIA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

NICKEL SIZE HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THIS STORM.

HEAVY RAIN AND FREQUENT AND DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL
BE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. SOME MINOR FLOODING OR PONDING OF WATER
CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

THIS STORM WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF SOUTHWEST CHAVES
COUNTY.

MOTORISTS CAN EXPECT BRIEF BUT SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITY AND
PONDING OF WATER ON HIGHWAYS AS STORMS MOVE THROUGH THE AREA.
