...MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW BANDS MOVING ACROSS MUCH
OF GUADALUPE COUNTY AND PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST TORRANCE COUNTY...

BANDS OF SNOW...MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL MOVE EAST
ACROSS A GOOD PORTION OF GUADALUPE COUNTY AND PARTS OF NORTHEAST
TORRANCE COUNTY. ONE TO JUST OVER TWO INCHES OF SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE
WITHIN THE HEAVIER BANDS...AT TIMES FALLING FAST ENOUGH TO OVERCOME
MELTING ON STILL RELATIVELY WARM PAVEMENTS AND CREATING HAZARDOUS
DRIVING CONDITIONS. BE ALERT ALSO FOR ICY PATCHES...ESPECIALLY ON
ELEVATED ROAD SURFACES. VISIBILITIES WILL DROP BRIEFLY AS LOW AS A
QUARTER TO A HALF MILE IN THE HEAVIER SNOW BANDS. THE SNOW SHOULD
DIMINISH ACROSS THIS AREA BETWEEN 515 AND 630 AM MDT. SOME IMPACTED
LOCALES INCLUDE SANTA ROSA...CLINES CORNERS...CUERVO...MILAGRO AND
SAN IGNACIO.

TRAVELERS ACROSS THIS AREA SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR AS MUCH AS TWO OR
3 HOURS OF WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS.
