.DISCUSSION...

Southeast winds will develop ahead of a front that will cruse
through the northeast part of the state this afternoon. Showers and
then later Thunderstorms, will develop with this system, quickly
passing to the east with the front as well. West winds will then be
more widespread for the afternoon and evening becoming light
overnight. Afternoon humidity will remain around 50 to 60 percent
east river, with the Missouri valley and west river getting a bit
more mixing with afternoon humidity down to around 30 percent.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Wednesday afternoon...The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
