.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...

A compact 996 mb low at 55N 157W will move inland and weaken
across Cook Inlet Mon morning. A trough of low pressure over the
southern Gulf will move east and weaken through this evening. A
North Pacific low will move to 55N 152W at 1006 mb early Tue
morning, then move to the Kenai Peninsula coast at 1008 mb by Tue
afternoon.
