High pressure builds toward the Mid Atlantic into the weekend, bringing
increasingly hot and humid conditions to the area. The hottest
weather can be expected from Friday through Sunday. Mainly
afternoon and evening thunderstorms are possible Saturday and
Sunday, becoming more numerous in coverage with the approach of a
cold front Sunday night into Monday.
