HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED EARLY THIS MORNING. THE
SNOW AND SLEET THAT FELL ACROSS THE AREA YESTERDAY WILL
REFREEZE AND BECOME ICY AS TEMPERATURES FALL INTO THE TEENS.
MOTORISTS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR AREAS OF BLACK ICE ON AREA ROADWAYS.
ADDITIONALLY...MANY SECONDARY AND RURAL ROADS REMAIN ICY AND SNOW-
COVERED. PUMP YOUR BRAKES LIGHTLY TO AVOID SKIDDING AND DRIVE
DEFENSIVELY. ALLOW FOR EXTRA TIME TO REACH YOUR DESTINATION AND
AVOID ANY SUDDEN STOPS OR ACCELERATIONS. CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE
AFTER 9 AM.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE TEENS TO AROUND 20 DEGREES
EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS WILL ALLOW AREAS OF SLUSH AND WATER TO
REFREEZE INTO ICE MAKING FOR SLIPPERY CONDITIONS ON ROADS AND
SIDEWALKS THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING. ANYONE PLANNING TO VENTURE
OUT SHOULD BE ALERT FOR AREAS OF ICE ESPECIALLY NEAR BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES AS WELL AS ALONG SECONDARY ROADS. CONDITIONS SHOULD
IMPROVE AFTER 9 AM.
