...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM EST THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
western Massachusetts, southern Vermont, Mohawk Valley, Capital
Region, mid Hudson Valley, eastern Catskills and most of the
Taconics.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

   Wind Advisory.

Lake effect snow is expected downwind of Lake Ontario this evening.
There remains uncertainty as to exactly where the heaviest snow will
occur and how far inland it will extend. Snowfall of 1 to 3 inches
is possible over the far western Mohawk Valley and Western
Adirondacks, with amounts tapering with eastward extent to less than
an inch in the Capital District. 1 inch is possible over the Green
Mountains as well.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Lake effect snow is expected to continue into Monday. The bands of
snow are expected to lift northward Monday morning yet how far
inland it will extend remains in question. Total snowfall of 2 to 4
inches is possible over the far western Mohawk Valley and Western
Adirondacks, with amounts tapering with eastward extent to less than
an inch in the Capital District. 1 to 2 inches is possible over the
Green Mountains as well.

Spotters are encouraged to relay snowfall reports to the National
Weather Service in Albany.

snow are expected to impact portions of the Adirondacks Monday
morning yet how far inland it will extend remains in question. Total
snowfall of 2 to 4 inches is possible, with amounts tapering with
eastward extent to less than an inch further inland.
