This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwestern Connecticut,
southern Berkshires, mid-Hudson Valley and central and southern
Taconics.

The probability of widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Light accumulations of snow and sleet are likely Thursday.

A wintry mix of precipitation, including a chance of freezing rain,
is possible Friday morning into Friday night and again Saturday
night into Sunday morning especially above 1000 feet elevation. If
confidence in freezing rain increases, a Winter Weather Advisory
would be issued.

could lead to river rises in the vicinity of ice jams and ice jam
