...MANY WEATHER RECORDS WERE TIED OR BROKEN AT THE ALBANY
   INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ON THURSDAY...

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 72 DEGREES WAS SET AT ALBANY NEW YORK
TODAY.  THIS SMASHES THE OLD RECORD OF 57 DEGREES SET IN 1941.  THIS
IS THE HIGHEST DECEMBER TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED IN ALBANY GOING
ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF DAILY RECORDS IN 1974.  THE
PREVIOUS HIGHEST DECEMBER TEMPERATURE EVER RECORDED IN ALBANY WAS 71
DEGREES...ON DECEMBER 29TH 1984.

ALSO THE 72 DEGREE VALUE IS THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE OBSERVED AT
ALBANY DURING THE METEOROLOGICAL MONTHS OF WINTER...REPLACING
THE 71 DEGREE VALUE LAST SET ON JANUARY 06 2007.

THE LOW TEMPERATURE OF 43 DEGREES TIED THE HIGH MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE OF 43 SET BACK IN 1931.

THE MEAN TEMPERATURE OF 58 DEGREES EASILY BROKE THE OLD MEAN
TEMPERATURE FOR DECEMBER 24TH WHICH WAS 48 SET BACK IN 1931.

NO MEASURABLE SNOW HAS FALLEN AT THE ALBANY INTERNATIONAL  THROUGH
DECEMBER 24TH OF THIS SEASON. THIS IS NOW THE LATEST IN ANY SEASON
THAT NO MEASURABLE SNOW HAS FALLEN IN ALBANY BREAKING THE PREVIOUS
LATE RECORD FOR THE FIRST MEASURABLE SNOW SET ON DECEMBER 24TH 1912.
