.NOW...
AN AREA OF LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS CONTINUES TO MOVE SOUTHEAST AROUND 15
MPH THROUGH THE EASTERN OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND THE SOUTHERN AND
EASTERN TEXAS PANHANDLE. AS TEMPERATURES PLUMMET BEHIND THE
FRONT...SOME OF THESE SHOWERS COULD CHANGE TO LIGHT SNOW FOR BRIEF PERIODS.
WHILE NO SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED WITH THIS
ACTIVITY. WINDS CONTINUE TO BE STRONG BEHIND THE COLD FRONT WHICH
PUSHED THROUGH THE AREA THIS MORNING. NORTHERLY WINDS GUSTING TO
NEAR 50 MPH ARE POSSIBLE. HOWEVER...WINDS SHOULD BEGIN TO DIMINISH
BY SUNSET.
