A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE EASTERN HALF OF THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE...AS WELL AS THE EASTERN ONE THIRD OF THE OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLE UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT. THE AREA AT RISK IS GENERALLY EAST OF
A LINE FROM LIBERAL TO LAKE MEREDITH TO WASHBURN TO WAYSIDE.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THROUGH THIS EVENING. STORMS
TODAY WILL MAINLY MOVE TO THE EAST OR NORTHEAST.

STORMS THAT DEVELOP TODAY WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO STRENGTHEN
QUICKLY...POSSIBLY BECOMING SEVERE WITH HAIL UP TO 3 INCHES IN
DIAMETER AND DAMAGING WINDS UP TO 70 MPH BEING THE MAIN HAZARDS.
ISOLATED TORNADOES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. VERY HEAVY RAINS WILL OCCUR
WITH SOME STORMS...WHICH COULD LEAD TO FLOODING OR FLASH FLOODING. A
FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS ALSO IN EFFECT FOR THE EASTERN ONE THIRD OF THE
TEXAS PANHANDLE.
