SCATTERED SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE WESTERN AND CENTRAL OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE AND
ALSO THE NORTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLE THROUGH 11 PM. THESE SHOWERS AND
STORMS WILL AFFECT LOCATIONS ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM
AMISTAD NEW MEXICO TO LIBERAL KANSAS. THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE IN AREAL COVERAGE THROUGH THE LATE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS AS THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE SOUTHEAST. EXPECT HEAVY
RAINFALL ALONG WITH WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH WITH THE STRONGER
STORMS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF AROUND ONE TENTH OF AN INCH OR LESS CAN
BE EXPECTED THIS EVENING FROM THE SHOWERS...THEN RAINFALL AMOUNTS
WILL INCREASE TO AROUND ONE TENTH TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH WITH SOME
HEAVIER AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES FROM THE STRONGER STORMS LATER
THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. THE HEAVY RAINFALL COULD RESULT
IN SOME FLOODING OR FLASH FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS AND POOR
DRAINAGE AREAS.

ELSEWHERE...SCATTERED SHOWERS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE EASTERN
TEXAS PANHANDLE ALONG AND EAST OF A PERRYTON TO HEDLEY LINE THROUGH
11 PM. THESE SHOWERS WILL MOVE EAST AND WILL AFFECT LOCATIONS IN AND
NEAR CANADIAN...WELLINGTON...LIPSCOMB...SHAMROCK...KELLERVILLE AND
WHEELER. THESE SHOWERS WILL BE LIGHT AND WILL PRODUCE RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF AROUND A TRACE UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.
