TWO AREAS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT THE TEXAS AND
OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES THROUGH NOON.

THE FIRST AREA IS ACROSS THE NORTHEASTERN TEXAS AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES. THESE STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A HALF TO THREE
QUARTERS OF AN INCH OF RAINFALL OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS...BRIEF WIND
GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH...AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING. THESE STORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO SLOWLY MOVE TO THE EAST WITH TIME.

THE SECOND AREA IS A CLUSTER OF DEVELOPING STORMS JUST NORTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 40 CORRIDOR. THESE STORMS WILL SLOWLY MOVE TO THE NORTH
WITH TIME AND BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF A QUARTER
TO A HALF INCH OF RAIN OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. ALSO ISOLATED
STRONGER STORMS WITHIN THIS CLUSTER COULD PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND
BRIEF WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH.
