WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 6 PM CST
THIS EVENING.

* EVENT...A POTENT STORM SYSTEM APPROACHING THE PANHANDLES WILL HELP
  SUSTAINED WINDS INCREASE INTO THE 35 MPH TO 45 MPH RANGE BY NOON
  WITH GUSTS NEAR 60 MPH.

* TIMING...NOON THROUGH 6 PM CST.

* IMPACTS...THESE HIGH WINDS COULD LOFT OBJECTS THAT ARE NOT PROPERLY
  SECURED TO THE GROUND. MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE EXTREME
  CAUTION...ESPECIALLY ON NORTH-SOUTH ROADS DUE TO STRONG CROSSWINDS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH WIND WARNING MEANS A HAZARDOUS HIGH WIND EVENT IS EXPECTED
OR OCCURRING. SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF AT LEAST 40 MPH OR GUSTS
OF 58 MPH OR MORE CAN LEAD TO PROPERTY DAMAGE.

  BE DISPLACED. STRONG CROSS WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING MORE DIFFICULT
  ON NORTH-SOUTH ROADWAYS.
