...NWS Damage Survey for 09/17/16 tornado event...

.Overview...A long-lived supercell thunderstorm tracked across the
northwest Texas Panhandle the evening of September 17. The storm
entered the state near Texline and moved southeast toward Dumas.
Several reports of low hanging wall clouds and large hail were
received and the storm finally produced a brief rope tornado around
941 pm per several reports from storm spotters and law enforcement.
NWS Storm Survey crew was unable to find damage associate with this
initial tornado report. One damage path was found which correlated to
a photographic evidence near Four Way, Texas. Damage along the path
consisted of a destroyed shed, widespread tree damage and roof damage
to a mobile home.
