MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...BLOWING SNOW...AND STRONG
WINDS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING.

* EVENT...LIGHT SNOW WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL
  CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE TEXAS PANHANDLE. IN ADDITION STRONG
  WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS WILL CAUSE BLOWING
  SNOW...REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO AROUND ONE MILE OR LESS AT TIMES IN
  LOCALIZED AREAS.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL CONTINUE EARLY THIS MORNING BEFORE EXITING THE
  AREA AROUND 10 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW PACKED AND ICY. AREAS OF
  BLOWING SNOW MAY RESULT IN REDUCED VISIBILITIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
