THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 6 PM CST THURSDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER
IN EFFECT.

* EVENT...5 TO 7 INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN TEXAS
  AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.

* TIMING...SNOW SHOULD BEGIN LATE THIS MORNING. PRECIPITATION WILL
  START AS RAIN BEFORE QUICKLY CHANGING TO SNOW. SNOW WILL BE
  HEAVIEST TONIGHT AND EARLY THURSDAY MORNING BEFORE TAPERING OFF
  DURING THE DAY THURSDAY.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL LIKELY BECOME HAZARDOUS.
